ABOUT
BELIEF #1
Rest isnāt a reward. Itās nervous system maintenance.
BELIEF #2
Weāre all frazzled because āoffā isnāt built into the system anymore.
BELIEF #3
Small cues of safety, repeated often, change peopleās lives.
I'M EMILY
Most would describe me as a mother, a therapist and an entrepreneur. But the truth is: Iām also a nervous system, and so are you.
Modern life loves to label us - āproductive,ā ācapable,ā āthe one who holds it all together.ā
But those boxes donāt leave much room to be human...to be tired, to need support and to come down.
re:st is for the people who look fine⦠and feel frazzled. For the always-on generation living with constant pings, endless roles, and a body that never fully unclenches.
Here, we donāt chase a new version of you.
We build a steadier baseline, through 10ā60 second micropauses that fit into real life and teach your system how to settle again.
If youāre ready to stop living braced and start coming home to yourself, one minute at a time, youāre in the right place.
MY STORY
I donāt just talk about nervous system regulation - Iāve had to learn how to live it.
Iām a clinically trained psychospiritual psychotherapist, trauma-informed somatic practitioner, and hypnotherapist. Iām also a systems thinker, which means Iām always looking at the bigger picture, not just whatās happening inside a person, but whatās happening around them too: the emotional world, the body, the spiritual layer, and the digital reality weāre all living in.
I grew up around chaos, so my body learned āon-modeā early. That shaped my curiosity, and honestly, my calling. I wanted to understand why we cope the way we do, why some people look fine but are collapsing within, what drives our dissociative behaviour and why ātrying harderā so rarely creates real change.
There are two moments which deepened that understanding in my own life. I experienced near-death during labour that pushed my nervous system into pure survival. Then, seven years later, during pregnancy again, I developed PTSD - something I hadnāt personally experienced before - and safety suddenly felt fragile in a way I couldnāt talk myself out of. Thatās when regulation stopped being a concept and became something I needed daily.
Like many, I did the big things... therapy, retreats, long practices, and they helped. But I kept noticing the gap: relief isnāt always the same as change, and what works in a quiet space doesnāt always hold in the pace of modern life. Thatās what led me to create re:st: a practical, science-led way to come down in real time through small, intentional pauses that compound across the day, so you can show up with more presence, patience, and capacity.
Today, my work sits at the crossroads of nervous system health, trauma-informed leadership, and ethical technology. Iāve worked with hundreds of high-impact individuals; executives, founders, creatives, and conscious companies, who want to bridge high performance with deep presence, without collapsing under pressure.
Iām not here to fix you. Iām here to help you feel safe inside yourself again - so you can lead, love, and live from a calm, connected place that holds.
Calm is intelligence. Regulation is leadership. Connection is the outcome.
āI didnāt realise how much I was carrying until I started doing this. The biggest change is that I arrive home less on edge. Iām still tired, but Iām not instantly reactive. That alone has changed our evenings."

āIāve tried therapy and all the āwellnessā things, but I needed something that worked in the middle of the day, not just when I had time. I feel clearer, less rushed, and Iām making decisions from a steadier place.ā
